Our story

Hi, thanks for stopping by! I'm Allie, short for Allison. I am 30 years old, married to my high school sweetheart, and living in the Midwest. We have two beautiful children, Corinne & Pierson. Our journey started in Northwest Indiana with a short detour in Chicago, before finally settling in West Michigan, where we bought a farmhouse that was a true "fixer-upper" built in 1890! We sold that shortly after finding out we were expecting our second baby and moved to our new home, where we currently reside. It was yet again a fixer upper, but this time our (hopeful) forever home! The true reason behind starting this blog was for me to remember every emotion, decision, fear, and every joyful moment, during our fixer upper journey. I look forward to sharing our story with you and hope you all enjoy following along!
